Autumn Construction served as the prime mechanical contractor for the construction of a new $5.0 million cleanroom in the Nick Holonyak Micro and Nanotechnology Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Despite the necessity for long-lead specialized HVAC equipment, our team successfully completed the mechanical piping, ventilation, and plumbing installation in less than 5 months. As a result, the cleanroom commenced full operation just in time for the start of the Fall semester in August of 2016.
