Autumn Construction Services will be providing mechanical piping renovations for the $12.6 Million CPS James Otis Elementary School MEP Renovations project as a subcontractor to Blackhawk, Inc and AGAE Contractors. The majority of the mechanical work will be performed during the Summer of 2024. The entire steam heating system will be replaced with a dual-temperature heating and cooling system. Installation of conventional boilers, air-cooled chiller equipment, and variable drive pumping equipment will be completed. The existing air handling equipment will be retrofitted with new dual-temperature heating and cooling coils and new supply fans.
The four-story James Otis World Language Academy celebrates its 144-year anniversary in 2023. In addition to MEP Renovations, the school will see masonry repair, roof replacement, and playground upgrades, including an artificial turf playfield with a walking track and lighting. We are excited to be working on the project construction team led by AGAE Contractors and Blackhawk HVAC. Blackhawk will be leading the mechanical team as the HVAC ventilation and insulation contractor for the project.
