Autumn plumbing collaborated with various O’Hare Automated Train System (OATS) subcontractors to provide new water service to the OATS train maintenance track area. This new water service, complete with janitor’s sink and wash station, allows janitorial staff easier access to clean and sanitize the interior of the train cars for passenger health and safety. Our plumbing work included the installation of new water service and a new janitor sink at the exterior maintenance track. The system is configured to drain during the winter months to prevent freeze-ups, complete with heat traced lines and insulation. The expedited project was completed in 3 short weeks with minimal track outages. It was a coordinated successful effort with OATS, Rossi Contractors, Hartmann Electric Company, and Five Star Insulation Company.
