Susan Nelson Announced as MCA of Chicago liaison to Construction Safety Council BOD

The Mechanical Contractors Association (MCA) of Chicago has recommended the appointment of Susan Nelson, President of Autumn Construction Services, Inc. as its liaison to the Board of Directors of the Chicagoland Construction Safety Council.

The 16-person Board of the Construction Safety Council meets bi-monthly, typically at our training facility located in Hillside, or virtually, more recently, in the interest of preserving the health of our members during the COVID pandemic. CCSC Directors serve for three years, but you would be active for the unexpired portion of Matt McKeon’s term, which concludes June 30, 2023. The Board is comprised of local business leaders and safety directors who embrace our mission to improve human safety performance through education and training. They are representatives in good standing with the organizations they represent (i.e., MCA) but cannot be employed by a governmental regulatory agency or a competing organization. Furthermore, our Board members share a dedication to the development and delivery of essential construction safety programs and services. This has been the hallmark of the CCSC since 1989.

The Construction Safety Council is an Illinois 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit charitable organization.
