Brookfield Zoo-Conservation Leadership Center

This project consists of transforming the former Reptile House into the Zoo’s new Conservation Leadership Center. The transformation required major changes to the building’s heating, ventilation and cooling system to provide an energy efficient and environmental friendly facility for conference rooms and offices instead of reptile habitats. Autumn’s work scope included the removal of the existing HVAC, furnishing and installation of the new air handling unit, boilers, chillers, and ice tank; the installation of the piping, pumps, and components for the chilled water and hot water heating system, and the start-up and commissioning of the new HVAC system.
